Hello Community, Does anyone have any ideas/advice to my question please? Thanks,

@Arkwright ah Ok I am wondering could it be the way I have setup the VPN? I have this as LAN to VPN for outgoing and VPN to LAN for incoming. As I have said, the third party has access to all they need to monitor what they need to monitor and this is working for them. Thanks,

@Arkwright Ah yes sorry I was misunderstood. Yes I have packet in an d out but not increasing when running a ping. Thanks,

@Arkwright - thanks for the update, I 'll ask the third party to check their side too. The only size I can see increasing is the ICMP Checksum as below. 09:19 09:20 Thanks,

@TonyA Thanks for the update. I have done as suggested and still only see the forwarded packets and no other information. The ping is stating Request timed out please see below. I'll contact the third party to check whether they have ping enabled/disabled for this network although I was told the IP I was given was…

@TonyA Thanks for this. I've run this but I am not seeing anything different. Only the forwarded packets. Thanks,

@Arkwright which of the options below is this please? Thanks,
-
@Arkwright I take it this means the ping request is leaving my side and is not reaching the destination or the destination is not responding?

@Arkwright many thanks, I can now see the packets are being forwarded - please see below.

@Arkwright yes I have a continuous ping running from my pc too which isn't showing anything in packet tracer either. There is nothing showing in connection monitor for the WAN or the router IP on the other side. Thanks,

@Arkwright thanks for your reply. I have the below. The packet capture does not see any traffic/packets for this - please see below. I have setup packet tracer as above to try and see the packets. Thanks,

@BWC - That's great and like you I have never had to use this feature on any rule before. This has worked fine on the 2 AP's I have now updated and I am not seeing any packet drops. I will let Extreme know about this too as it may influence what packet priorities they send out. Many thanks as always Michael :). Kind…

@XPSChris - Hi Chris, updating the firmware to the latest version looks to have resolved the issue for me. I have not had either SW rebooting randomly since the firmware upgrade. I would check what patch version you have with your firmware. I have the below. Hope this helps. Thanks,

@BWC - Ah, I have just gone through this and toggle ON the Allow TCP Urgent Packet's and this looks to have worked as I now have no packet drops and the AP's are updating first time, Great news! Is there any downside to this and Is there anything else you can with the rule I have created for the Extreme AP's. Much…

@BWC - thanks for your replies and SSO is not enforced if you mean Single Sign On for the LAN concerned. DPI-SSL I believe is not activated for the Client or Server please see below. Thanks,
